Get Confident

“Self-confidence is not a feeling of superiority, but of independence.” Lama Yeshe

The Oxford English dictionary defines Confidence as:
Being self assured, a feeling of self reliance or certainty, boldness.  Firm trust.

Confidence is the key ingredient that allows people to live the life they want.  It helps you to do what you want to do, kick-starts your motivation, and gives you the strength and determination to succeed.

There is often a correlation between how much people earn and how much they believe in themselves.  The better you feel about yourself the more you believe you deserve.  People who suffer from guilt and low self esteem will lose out to self-sabotage, hesitancy, limited thinking, and negative beliefs.

Do you ever want something but find yourself taking no action towards it?  As if part of you is actually sabotaging your chances of achieving it?  Do you ever criticise yourself? Do you allow your “inner voice” to tell you negative things?

Often when we look in the mirror, what we see is not reality our self-image is often unrealistic.  For example, someone may be anorexic yet still see themselves as ‘fat’.

It’s important to remember we are not born thinking negatively and lacking self confidence!  It’s something many of us acquire through our life experiences - and there are many things we can do to change negative thoughts, emotions, and habits.

People that harness their self confidence and personal power will be fearless and take immediate, massive and repeated action persevering until they achieve what they want.
